Lighting in Basement, Suggestions?

Hi there,

I have a 6-6.5 foot tall basement. I'm currently finishing it and I cant decide whether to use in ceiling flood light or on the wall sconce lighting.

What do you suggest for such a short basement?

Thanks,
Kamil

You don't have enough height for ceiling lights. If you use recess lights you will need several. I would go with wall mounted.

I just finished my basement and have both in a 8'8' ceiling. Go with the scones on a dimmer so you can have good lighting and mood lighting. If you have a "special" area on a wall like art work you could get a couple of small fish eyes to accent that piece.
Can lights and guys 6 foot tall or taller will think their hair is on fire!

Hey guys,

I think your right... sconce lights will be the most useful and easiest to do as well.

Thanks a lot!
