Not sure if this is a fit for this forum, but I'm taking a shot. I have a circa 1976 movie sign that is wired to be lit. Inside the frame, it has a rectangular insert with 40, GE 161 bulbs spaced around it. The wiring that comes out of the frame has 2 plugs that look similar to 1/8" stereo jacks (see pic). I'm assuming that these were designed to plug into a AC to DC converter?? Any help is greatly appreciated.
Possibly two circuits, every other bulb on the opposite one. This to allow for an alternating flashing pattern. If you just want them all to light together then you'd just need an appropriate DC power supply and make two sockets for those plugs. But if you want them to alternate then you'd need something more involved.
