Length of wires

Does anyone know if there is a minimum length recommended or required for white, black, red and ground wires in Canada?

I have read recommendations of 6 inches in general but am not sure if that's within Canada and/or if it's required.

If I take a pigtail from my ground wires to the grounding screw in the box, how long should the pigtail be?

Thanks!
