I've RV'd for 30 years now. I think you'll find your motorhome is 50amp on 120volt if it's a newer model, check your owners manual or dealer. Also if this is a long time, "or very often," hook up, best to get away from extension cords and go with a proper box to box hook up, chance of burning up A/C or other items.

I've never seen a 50A-120v motor home hook up. Only 30A-120v and 50A-120/240v.
