LED Recessed Light Retrofits...WOW!!
Well, I finally got around to installing a few "can" lights in my bathroom, that I have been meaning to do for quite some time (7 years). I am glad I waited.
I have been researching and found the Cree units at Home Depot, and installed them today. WOW!!! Very impressive!!! The cost is still not that great ($39.99 ea), but much better than the dimmable CFL's that are on the market now, and I have tried just about all of them!
The color is a perfect match to an incandescent in the 75-100% range. Any level less than that it turns a bit greenish/blueish tint, but OK. The instant on is what we like the most... no warm up period like the CFL's.
The best part about it... it passes the WAF with flying colors!! Woo Hoo!!
