so wiring an adapter to the power supply wouldn't be a problem?
soldering directly to the adapter prongs?

this option would cost around 40.

here's another which would be already wired for 120v...no driver on it...nearly the same price

would this work? would any of these interfere with the sound of the record player?

can you help me out and take a look at these.
i think i may go with this option. just need to confirm i can solder the adapter to the power supply without interference. these are 24v.

can i just cut it up and solder the wire downstream from an ac adapter/transformer.

THIS one looks better. Another way you can find this type of lighting is to search for "Under Cabinet Lighting". Make sure it's in the right color temperature and it should be easy to install. Also make sure that they use 3M adhesive which will stick much better to where you put it.
