LCD keeps tripping the breaker

So I recently purchased a Samsung 46" LCD TV. I brought it home, plugged it in and it tripped the breaker. (15 amp breaker)

We determined that the TV only trips the breaker when the coax cable is attached to the TV. At one point, the Coax cable gave a spark when we tried to connect to the TV while it was plugged in. I was told there was a short in the TV. Exchanged the TV, same problem...

I had the cable company come in and checked the lines and everything is fine.

The way my living room is wired, my outlets work off two wall switches. The top is always hot, the bottom works off the switch. We figured out today that breaker only trips when the one light switch is turned on. When it is off, the TV works fine.....

I'm on my last leg here before I just return the TV and be done with it. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Returning won't solve it. I suggest reading the thread posted...but it is more than likely a hot to ground problem.

I hate it when stupid people wire houses

Problem is, they may accidentally take other people with them when they leave...

Well on the plus side, all this grounded coax is letting people find these miswired outlets. :P
