Laundry circuit


If the laundry is in a bathroom will one 20 amp circuit do?

Laundry circuit


I'd say you would likely need 2 circuits. I believe laundry requires its own, as does a bathroom (well, bathroom outlets from multiple bathrooms can be on the same circuit.)

I've never heard this specific scenario, so one of the experts will chime in and know for sure, but my guess would be two circuits. One for the laundry, one for the rest of the outlets (and the lights if NO other rooms, not even bathrooms, will be served from that circuit).

Laundry circuit


Need more than one circuit. Some states do not allow gas dryers in bathrooms.

Laundry circuit


need a dedicated 20A receptacle for laundry, no other outlets on the circuit. if it is in the bathroom , it will need to be a GFCI receptacle.
