knob & tube. any value ?


my house has some of this in it. i am wondering if there is someone/s out there that actually wants this stuff. i doubt it, but ya never know.

knob & tube. any value ?


You could take it to the scrap yard. They'll give you something for it. Probably not worth the gas to get there tho.

knob & tube. any value ?


There is to much of the old porcelane tubes and knobs available---no value--the rare glass knobs might be of interest--scrap the copper---$3.00 a pound or so.

knob & tube. any value ?


Some of the components make decent coat hooks if you need any. Otherwise scrap it but you will not get much but for the copper. It is almost not worth your time to pull it out unless there is some reason you have to do so. It is not hurting anything if disabled.

There used to be a limited market for the push button switches that were common with old K&T but since you can get real replicas that meet code now nobody really wants them either.

thanx, guys. that is what i figured. i just didn't want to chuck the stuff. and then later find out that they are worth $5 each.
