J-Box location


I'm in the process of finishing my basement. I know J-boxes are NOT allowed in areas that can not be accessed (closed off). Are J-boxes allowed in a ceiling space that has a drop ceiling?

J-Box location


yes...if the tiles are removable, the boxes are accessible.
