Installing a new condenser fan on my home a/c unit


The old motor has 3 wires the new one has 4 it has black, white, brown, and brown and white. Is the white a neutral and if so do I need to hook it up and just wire nut . I don't c a netural outside any where

Installing a new condenser fan on my home a/c unit


condenser fan mtr's are typically 240v make sure you have the correct voltage, frame, hp, rpm. The black is hot and white would be hot and the other two would go to the run cap. Hots will be fed from load side of the contactor
