Unregistered Guest   Posts: n/a	installing a light fixture on a switch controlled outlet i am trying to install a light fixture on a switch controlled outlet. i have 14-2 only in my switch box. my live wire is black. please help with how i should wire this fixture and cable going to outlet.

Is it just a light that you are installing? You should have a ground in the box, green or plain copper wire. Does your light fixture have a ground wire? How old is the house?
