does the light get plugged into the timer and the timer into the socket???? how many lights and where is it wired if not a plug in...make sure your not reading AM time and have it set for PM shutoff or viesi versi

Ge has over 12 digital timers listed; perhaps you could narrow it down a bit.
My guess, no neutral.
