installing electrical and low voltage outlets on unsealed exterior basement walls

How can I install and protect electrical and low voltage (coaxial & Cat6 Ethernet) outlets/jacks if the framing they're attached to sits in front of an unsealed exterior basement wall? The basement won't be sealed beforehand.

No special protection is needed.

The cables and outlet boxes are mounted to the studs in the same manner as for upstairs framing.

so moisture seeping from the concrete and lath & plaster wall is nothing to worry about with bare electrical wires inches away?

I would be more concerned with mold at that point.

Yes, but that's another post. This post is about moisture + electricity

What do you think the problem would be? The moisture is NOT going to affect the electricity. If anything it will affect the associated metal.

Moisture is the problem. Mold and/or rot will be problems, if they are not already.
Fix the moisture problem before doing anything.
Otherwise, you may find yourself pulling out everything to get at the problem.

fixing the moisture problem is out of scope for this project - the whole basement will be fully finished in a year or two and that's when we'll seal it to address moisture. for now I just need to quickly refinish this small room so it can be my office. its temporary.
