Installing a ceiling fan in a new construction home

I recently purchased a ceiling fan in our new construction home... problem I am having is the colored wires I have in my ceiling, aren't the same colors that is givein in the instruction manual.... how do I wire the ceiling fan correctly...
area already has double switch wall switch plate that is already connected...

ceiling colored wires are two black wires that are capped off, two white wires that are capped off, one purple wire capped off, and one orange wire capped off....

fan instruction say connect blk wire from fan to blk wire from independant wall switch.. connect blue wire from fan to blk wire from the other independant wall switch for the light... connect white wire from fan to white wire from ceiling. connect all ground (green) wire together from fan to ceiling...

Question do I not connect the purple or orange wires from my ceiling to anything and just leave them capped off like they originally were.. and what about the green wire from fan, I dont have a green wire in my ceiling to connect it to...

any help would greatly appreciate it..

Do you have any pictures

Where are the purple and orange wires coming from? Is there drywall on yet?

Are the 2 white wires connected together and then wire nutted? Are the 2 black wires connected together and then wire nutted? Are the orange and purple wire nutted individually?

If what I have said above is correct, connect the white of the fan to the 2 white wires, connect the black (motor) of the fan to the orange or the purple, and connect the blue (lights) of the fan to the other single wire.

If not wired as I suggested, post a picture of the wires in the ceiling and open the switch box, pull out the switches (do not disconnect anything) and post a picture of the wiring.

Do you have a fan-rated box in the ceiling? If it was meant for a normal light fixture, you need to replace the box with one listed for fan use.

If you fill in your location it really helps.

Some areas use conduit and the colors can differ from those in cables. You sound like you are in one of those areas. The metal conduit will provide your ground.
