I have power to the timer but the light doesn't work. What should I do with the blue and red wires? Right now I have each capped off. Thanks.
Black from timer goes to line power.
White from timer goes to neutral.
Blue from timer goes to load power.
Green from timer goes to ground.
Red from timer is capped off.
If you do not have a neutral(just because a conductors insulation is white does not mean it is a neutral) then you cannot use this timer.
Here is the timer you need.
