Install a fan brace

I have a project where I need to hang a light fixture to a remodel box but none of the boxes that I seen are suitable for fixture support , so I want to use a safet-t-brace fan brace to support the fixture , but I'm also going between 2 metal studs which I don't see a safe-t-brace working out too well and the person I'm doing the work for doesn't want any drywall damage - any suggestions ?
Thank you ,

Install a fan brace

I would tell the person I can't do the work right without opening up the drywall, and I will not do it unless I am comfortable the fixture is properly supported.

(Or in other words, when the fixture falls down, they will be on the phone with a quickness expecting you to fix it for free...)
