Information for 'lay persons' concerning permit requirements
Most jurisdictions have a 'checklist' or information sheet that summarizes basic NEC requirements for lay persons who want to pull a home owner's permit. I came across this one from Colorado that is particularly good. You might want to give it a look. Lots of valuable information summarized from the NEC to help a DIYer on a project.

Very handy. I guess if a DIY is going to do it and they start looking at the outline its either going to scare them off or give them just one more piece of the puzzle. Nice work CO.
