Ic Recessed Lighting
Can I install ic cans into 2x8 joist with plywood decking on top? I'm decking attic. Is there any clearance I need to know about?

I ndont see why not. Think as it in first floor and you have second floor.
If you use the 6" deep one you dont have to wory about clearence either. |
