IC can temperature rating?


Can anyone tell me at what temperature the thermal protector on a IC rated can will turn the light off? I have not researched the manufacturers yet, hoped someone here might save me some time. Many Thanks.

IC can temperature rating?


it is pretty much up to the manufacter put in the thermal switch in there and they useally about 140°F - 200°F depending on how it set up and they will have max wattage labeled with the trims on it
