I moved an electrical outlet.

I moved an electrcical outlet.... what i did was .. I moved the box about 1.5 feet. I fished a wire to the new destination.. then i wire nutted them together in the old box. and put a blank on that box.

Is this okay to do?

I moved an electrical outlet.

That's exactly how it's done! Good work.
