I dont know what to do now.........

Hi all....
Ok the problem. I had to do a soft rest on my computer unplug hold power button 1min plug in. Lost power in 2 bedrooms and 1 receptacle in hallway. I checked the panel no tripped circuit breakers... Ok now i found the breaker for the rooms and hallway all the same breaker, so i turned it off.

Next i checked all my stuff in the front room everything works cool..I turned the breaker on, plug a desk light in no power at all(2rooms and hallway).Called PG&E(power company) he came out all he could do was check the panel for power and 1 GFI in the garage fine. Now i had to check the other GFI's they all work....now i did this myself i changed the receptacle where computer was plug in(3 wire) test it no power. Now the 1 in the hallway(4 wire) powers on WOW...Plug clock in fine...i fliped the light switch powers out again and no tripped breaker...I hope someone can help me before i call the electrician...Thanx

If you fliped the light switch powers out again.... this is the source of the problem... if you put the light switch back to its previous position, would the power come back?, if it does, it probably means a mail function switch. If power is not working no more. you have a more complicated issue... but I think all surrounding the light switch/circuit....

if you try DIY... you need a multimeter or voltage detector ...
