How to seal underground conduit.

I will be running direct burial feeder wire between buildings with conduit at each end above ground for physical protection. How would I seal the conduit to prevent unwanted critters (termites/ants) from entering the conduit from below the ground? Thanks Jim.

Fire caulk or duct seal, or silicone.
