how to run electrical wire with no attic space and inability to remove ceiling boards
We are trying to install outdoor ceiling fans on old farmhouse porch. There is no attic space above to run the electrical wires only rafters and tin roof. The ceiling of the porch is 100 yr old tongue and groove so removing a board or two is out of question you would never get it to match back up. Our thoughts are to run the elec wire exposed through conduit or tube or covering. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I think I'd do conduit & then box it in with wood to try to match

You should be able to fish it - at least to the edge of the porch ceiling.

I would think you could fish it to the wall as well. If you can't or don't want to go to the trouble, you might want to consider wiremold products. Not my favorite thing but it is less industrial looking than conduit.
