how many outlets after a GFI

falcon802 Newbie   Join Date: May 2006 Posts: 6	how many outlets after a GFI Hello all. Can anyone tell me how many outlets I can run in series after a GFI outlet in my garge, I am running 12 gage wire with a 20 amp GFI and I want to add some more outlets? Thank you to anyone. Bruce.

Speedy Petey Licensed Electrical Cont.     Join Date: Feb 2004 Location: NY State Posts: 6,152	how many outlets after a GFI As jb said, there is no limit. I usually don't go more than 5 or 6. Just to help avoid nuisance tripping. __________________ Sometimes I feel like if I answer any more questions it is like someone trying to climb over a fence to jump off a bridge and me giving them a boost.
