How many amps draw for these small devices.

I would still like to have a general idea of the number of watts calculated for use by

1. stereo receiver
2. small (36") ceiling fan with 11 watt compact flouro bulb
3. smallest size dehimidifier

I am just looking for ballpark ideas, that why I haven't put in brand names etc.

Thanks for any tips.

Look at the amps multiply by the voltage, that will not be exact, but it will get you close.

what he said,

If you have .3A and your are in the USA on a 110-115v then you have 33-34.5 Watts, if you have a way to measure the volts it may be higher, my house is 120-125v

if you have 3mA that's milli-Amps and is .003 Amps

now your receiver is hard to ball park, at idle they are low power, but if that thing is cranking out some tunes/5.1 surround it could easy hit 1000W peaks = 8.3 Amps or over half of a 15A circuit.
