How to file a complaint against an electrician

My electrician didn't finish his job and left without any explanation. Can I file a complaint against his license and request a refund of what I paid him?

What exactly does the contract read? Your best bet would be to seek out a lawyer to know your rights.

Are you saying that every thing was fine and he just vanished?--no word?

Are you sure he is alive? Perhaps he passed away?

Were there any problems between the two of your before he left and how much down did you give him and how complete is the job?

Did you actually hire an electrical contractor?

Was there a contract?

Did you pay him? What percent? How much was done?
