How to create a 12v DC motion detector?

I have a mini DVR and a small pin hole camera all with a 12v sealed battery.I am putting all this into a pelican brief case in an outdoor environment. I want to make a motion detector to turn it on when motion is detected, and off after a couple of minutes. I read you could do this with a polyblock board, I have found it several places on line but I cannot find where to buy it..Any ideals where to get it? Or any set by set instruction on how to build my own motion detector? (small in size)

Try googling "Motion sensor module" or "12v Motion Sensor." Perhaps something like this would make a good starting point? http://www.housewatch.com.au/lighting13.php

Kinda large, but you could maybe strip it down a bit. Apparently runs on 12VDC and provides a plain relay-style contact to switch whatever you want, and an adjustable on-time from 6 seconds to 12 minutes.

Nevermind my previous post, totally buy from that guy! I didn't even know he had a store. Check out his website (nomadness.com) sometime, he's awesome.
