how best to replace lighting

So I have this lighting I really like in my family room, as shown in the picture. It's a bunch of 4 foot 40 watt fluorescent tubes up there (F40T12 in case someone wants to ask). The row of lights is 270", or 22.5' long.

I'm having problems with some of them going out at various times and now they're not all turning out, so I'm facing having to muck with the ballasts.

I'd rather just go ahead and replace them all with LED strips in the hopes of cutting down the maintenance. The one problem I've seen is that I can't find one that is long enough. Any thoughts on how best to get around this? should I just make 2 chains, each half length?

Also, how do I match to make sure I match the brightness as I'd like to keep the overall amount of light put out? (this is my primary concern as I can't find a direct comparison from what I have in fluorescent tubes and convert that to an LED strip)

Thanks for the help!

It happens. Every fluorescent fixture needs it eventually.
How old are yours?

Do them all and at once and you should be good for a long while.
Plan to change to T8 lamps too.

Meh.
