How to access bulbs on flush mount light
3 Attachment(s)
Hi all,

I'm trying to change a burnt-out bulb in a flush mount light on my ceiling. See the attached pictures - there don't appear to be any access points. I've tried giving the globe a good counterclockwise turn with no success. I also can't seem to find any access point with an X-acto knife to try and pry it open. The little knob in the middle is not a screw either.

Any ideas?

The thing in the middle of the light is what holds the globe one.
It should unscrew and the globe will come off.

That knob in the middle does just unscrew. Looking up it gets turned counter clockwise.

I would bett that the center bit getts unscrewed,
But it could be seized up or broken.

The center part should turn,
But if it doesnt it could be seized up.
Do you have a grinder?

The center is screwed to a 3/8" threaded nipple. Try harder, it'll unscrew.
