Question

Hot Tub 240volt wiring

I will be installing a new jaccuzzi tub which requires a 240 volt 50 amp breaker. My wire run will be 150 feet. What size wire should I use?

There is more involved to wiring a hot tub then just the correct wire size.

Hot Tub 240volt wiring

Nice House. The trim details make it really work. I am trying to get one question at a time answered. I wired for low voltage in my backyard a year ago and had to run a larger size wire about half of the distance because the run was too long. For my spa I have a long run again. I hoped there was a standard where, say, #6 wire was suitable for at least the 150' I have to run.
