Help with wiring!

Hi everyone, my name is Dave and I have a quick question concerning wiring. I have a few small computer fans that I want to hook together and use them in a project I'm working on. My question is what would be the safest and best way to power them? Do I just connect them all to one cord and plug it in? Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

Whats the voltage? Current? Hz? Of each fan?

You will need DC power supply the size will depending on the total current draw on all the fans itself.

Merci.

Whoa. 14A? You sure that's not .14A?

Whoops, you're right, .14A

What are you making? An old computer Power Supply would probably be best to power it with. How many fans?

I was hoping to be able to just wire them to a DC power adapter but I'm not entirely sure it's safe or if I would have to use 3 separate adapters, which I would like to avoid.

Do you have a 12v DC adapter to try it with? It SHOULD work fine for 3 fans....

You should be able to find a 12V 500ma adapter that should handle this.

Even the smallest 12v plugpack would have no trouble running all three fans.
Use a standard plugpack 500ma will do nicely.
