If I understand correctly, you have three cables in a switch box. One power cable, one to the UC fixture, and one to another switch box for a switch to control the UC fixture. If this is what you have then you need the power cable at the GFCI box, one cable from the GFCI box to the switch box for the UC switch, and a cable from the UC switch box to the UC fixture thus giving you two cables in each box. Yes, no?

help with switch

I have three wires in a single gang GFI recepticle box, the under cab lights are across the room and already wired, I suppose I could make it a duplex and add a switch, but I prefer the switch on the other end of kitchen, I need help on what to pigtail and a white wire is mabye hot or something?

thanks

Is this a kitchen counter plug, if so you arn't suppose to share that circuit with anything else.

But if you were going to do it, your white from your feed goes to the GFI and the UC light. The black from your feed goes to the GFCI and onto the white of the wire to the switch. The black from your switch goes to the black of your UC light.
