HELP!!! Info on changing old fuse box to circuit breaker box

We recently bought an old mobile home which had an old fuse box that is completely worn out. We would like to install a new circuit breaker box. Since there is no power leading into the home, we thought we could go ahead and install one ourselves.Question, would the power company have to run a new wire from the pole to the house if we're going to increase the wattage from 100 to 200? Or would the original power source be efficient?

Let me do some math. 200 watts / 240 volts = 0.8 amps

I would say that a d cell battery is enough.

Or did you mean from 100 to 200 amps?

Based on what you seem to know about electricity, I would say that NO you cannot do this yourself, you need to hire it done.

The wire from the pole to your house may or may not need to be changed. The POCO will determine that. They operate under rules than you or I. They don't go by the NEC.
You will probably need to replace all the wires form the panel through the meter can to the POCO connection point.
