Simply can I use a Cat5e instead of a 22/4 for my motion sensors ??

Thank you

Help with home alarm wiring

You could, but personally I would use standard #18 or #20 "Bell" wire or Thermostat wire. Reason being, is that it will last a lot longer than 22-24awg wire.

Maybe something bad, maybe something good. I guess we'll never know, 'cause you're going to guard it. You won't touch it, will you?
