I hope someone will be able to help with this...
I bought a this pendant light fixture that is plug in, and I plan to remove the end of the cable, and hardwire it.
I will connect the ribbed wire to the white wire, and the smooth wire to the black wire in the junction box.
Here's the problem: the light is a polar plug but only has 2 wires in it, and I'm not sure how/if I can ground it.
Is there something in the fixture that I can connect the junction box's grounding wire to?
If this isn't possible, is it okay for me to go without grounding?
