Grounding (Go Figure)
I am sitting here at work reading the posts and just thought of something.
Does anyone have any information on whether the "sharkbite" type connectors used in some plumbing still provide a continuous connection for grounding purposes? I am just curious and I understand that The Code now requires grounding to be within 5 feet of the entrance of the pipe to prevent problems such as this but more so with PEX and CPVC plumbing in use today. Just food for thought. Thanks, Rick |

Grounding (Go Figure)
The consensus seems to be no bonding, even from the manufacturer....

Thanks for the replies.
I thought there would be some continuity but it is nice to hear it from the horses mouth. Thanks, Rick Lee |
