Good Quality Cable Ties?
 

Colored multi pack from Walmart just isn't doing the job. After a few years, they are just breaking apart. Is there a brand or type of nylon cable tie that is known to be good quality?

I buy from home depot and have not had an issue.

Outside in the sun? You need the UV ties. They are usually black.

I always buy black for inside, outside, everywhere. The white ones always seem to get brittle and break after a year or two.

Home Depot and Lowes both sell junk ty-raps. Black or white they are cheap and not very strong. I made the mistake of buying some and found out the hard way. I prefer T&B, or comparable. DIY ty-raps just do not cut it. And yes. Sunlight resistant ties are best for outside use. Check your local supply house or check online.

T&B looks to be the ticket. Could not find 4" black w/ stainless catch on Amazon, though. One would think the 3M product would also be decent.

Anything NOT made in China.

Ive never had an issue with the 10" ties I buy at menards,I dont use many outside though :)
