GFI do or die.
 

OK, I have 2 GFI circuits in my 8 year old home. One in the kitchen only. and one for my garage, bathrooms, front and back pourch, mechanical room. The kitchen has an convience out let but the rest of the house does not. In my breaker panel I have a: Kitchen GFI breaker and b: Master GFI breaker. So here's the problem... I plugged in my X-mas lights and all but the kitchen GFI went out. The breaker never tripped and I have NO convience outlet to reset. So what is wrong and where do I go from here?

Try turning the breaker to the off position then back on sometimes it does not look tripped but it is, this will make sure that it gets reset.

Check around to see if someone installed a gfci outlet in one of the other required locations in the house not realizing that it was already protected.
Example. Bathrooms, unfinished basement area, garage, outside front or rear plug, deck plug.
