Question

GFCI in wet wall?

I am installing a receptacle on the back side of a half bath downstairs. It happens to be in the same wall space as the water supply line for the sink of that bathroom. Does the new receptacle need to be GFCI protected? Thank you.

Sorry. I didn't give enough info. The receptacle is not in the bathroom, it is in the dining rooom.
