Gfci trips


I assume you mean a GFCI receptacle and you installed this new receptacle (outlet is more generic than receptacle, I assume you mean receptacle) on the "load side" of this gfci that is tripping?

What else is downstream/load side of the gfci? Does it trip immediately or is there a delay?

Check the connections in both locations. It only takes 5ma of current to trip a gfci so any ground leakage will trip it
