GFCI outlet - buzz noise

I heard some buzz noise (not too loud) from two of the new Leviton's GFCI outlet I purchased recently. I am wondering if they are bad or this is just normal.

Thanks.

GFCI outlet - buzz noise

I just installed several Leviton Smart Lock Pro GFCI's. I just went and put my ear up to them. Did not hear a thing.

Do you have a green light and is it on? Outlets working?

Why did you install these? Replacement and previous problem? New?

Is there anything connected to the load side?

Difference with something plugged in or nothing plugged in?

GFCI outlet - buzz noise

A properly installed GFCI will not make any noise at all.

Did you hit the test button and reset it ? if so and the noise still there you will need to check it closer and what room this GFCI is located and what receptale it serve ??

Once you answer the question we can dail down excatally what is going on.

Merci,
Marc
