Ge washer wpre8150k1wt


My washer works all codes have been cleared by my husband. Washer will still not fill with water it wants to drain when turned on Dear husband very frustrated

Probably a repair technician is your best bet.
There are a few things you as a diy can check as far as the no fill problem. I'm not sure though about what you mean by it wants to drain.

Anyway disconnect the two hoses from the back of the washer and you will see two screens. They may be clogged with iron deposits. Cean them.
If you husband is handy he may want to check to make sure the water inlet valve is working.

As for the draining. Are you saying that when you turn the washer on to start the cycle ...motor and pump start and it begins to pump the water out of the washer.

Probably the wrong forum as it has nothing to do with electrical.
Whatever tells your washer that its time to drain obviously isn't working right. I would assume you need the Maytag man :D
