GE Smart Digital Timer #15086
I know this has been discussed before but I have a little different twist.
The circuit is for my outside lights. The main switch that supplies the power has a Blk and Red wire on top and a Blk on the bottom. There is a Wht wire nut bunch and a Grd wire nut bunch. I believe this is where I should install the Timer.
On the other switch I only have one 3/14 terminated at this switch.
I tried this location first and got no response.
My question is at the Main switch. I know that the Grn goes to the Grd bunch and the Wht goes to the Wht bunch. That leaves 2 Blks and one Red.
Do I tie the Blks together with the Blk of the Timer and the Red to the red of the Timer?
Thank you in advance for your assistance.

You have a single pole timer, and I beleive you need a 3 way.

All times are GMT -5. The time now is 01:22 PM.
