The switch to replace is a single pole switch with a black wire connected at the top and white at the bottom.
The ge switch has a white, black, red and green.
There is a second switch in the box which is a three way. It has a red, black, white and green.
The manual says to connect the red to the load, black to the line and white to neutral. Trouble is I only have two wires (white and black) coming in from the light fixture and this is old work so pulling a new 14-3 wire isn't an option.
I am assuming that the white and black is acting as a loop (two blacks).
Is it possible for me to use the white neutral from the three way switch in the box through a wiring nut to both switches? That would give me a neutral, red (white from the fixture) and black (from the fixture at the ge switch.
