Could you provide a much better idea of the info you need?

Answers based on the National Electrical Code. Local amendments may apply. Check with your local building officials.

I'd guess your opener is from the 50s or maybe even earlier.

Searched for "Robot Appliances, Inc".
Its a company from the 50's. Google books had an entry in a 1950 book called "Industrial Research Laboratories of the U.S" with a reference to the company "Robot Appliances, Inc., 13165 Prospect Ave., Dearborn, Mich."
that does "development and manufacture of electronically controlled devices for opening and closing doors, gates etc.". The company also has a couple of patents from the 50s. The original company doesn't appear to exist any more.

According to wiki "The electric overhead garage door opener was invented by C.G. Johnson in 1926 in Hartford City, Indiana".
Honey, does this tool belt make me look FAT?

Sounds like it's time for a new one. Send that one to the Smithsonian.
