Question

Future Proof kitchen

If I have 6 gauge wire strung to future proof my kitchen for a bigger 50 amp stove later, can I use a 40 amp breaker for now. Then later move to a 50 amp breaker when and if I purchase a oven/cooktop combo?

Future Proof kitchen

Thank goodness the post was within reason. Future proof kitchen ( at least electrically) doesn't exist. Petey is correct.
