Furnace Ignitor

i have a carrier unit for my AC and HEATER. The control board model ins hkf42fz007. The ac will work fine but the heater does not seem to be working. The furnace will not ignite. The LED is a constant red on the board. The instruction informs that if it is constantly lit red, it has 24V. How do i make my furnace work? How do i make the furnace ignite?

Set the thermostat to 'HEAT' and set the temperature higher.

If you have a power vent remove the hose to the pressure switch and see if it is clogged.

Furnace Ignitor

The circuit board has gone bad. I removed the power to the igniter connector and connected the multimeter and noticed that there was no power to this multimeter. The connectors responded fine to the multimeter. I guess i will have to replace the circuit board.
Thank you.

You should post this part in HVAC section on this fourm one of the members will help you to make sure you are doing the right step before you get new circuit board.

There are few steps you have to follow to make sure to rule out any other safety issue like some safety switch kicked out that can prevent the furance get ingited.

Merci.
