I am having a problem with my Ruud Achiever 90 plus furance, after 41/2 years the pressure switch is open code 2 keeps happening. I've been told that it could be the wind direction, to many bends in the intake pipe, or to long of an intake pipe. but when the service people come out they have manually unstuck the pressure switch and then leave. I wonder why they don't replace it? They tell me that it is stuck because the above things. Is that true or should it be replaced? They have only charged me twice out of the 5 times, but now want to come out and do a bunch of testing. Can the problem be discovered if the code isn't flashing? Do I have to wait for the code to flash again for them to find the problem? For what possible reasons does it throw this code? Can anyone help?
