Let me know if this works. I have 14-2 (power feed) coming to a switch box (box #1). I then have a 14-3 (leaving box #1) going over to the other side of the room (not touching lights) to another switch box (box #2). I then have a 14-2 (light feed) coming to switch box #1.
If I land the 14-2 (power feed black) on the common on the 3-way in box#1. Land the 14-3 black/red as travelers to the 2nd 3-way switch over at box #2. Use the 14-3 white w/black tape on the common of the 3-way in box#2. In box #1 take returning white 14-3 (w/black tape) and splice to the black wire of 14-2 for the feed to the lights and then splice the remaining 2 whites (white from power feed and white from light feed).
One tiny detail: The switched hot coming back to switch #1 box and connected to the light feed may not be the white wire.
(One morning on WRKO Radio) The tub's not clean! Let's remodel the bathroom.
(One afternoon on WRKO Radio) It's time for an oil change. I'm going to trade in the car for next year's model.
